To all my Friends on 365 I am still unwell , I read up about Kidney infections on Google it states It can make you feel very unwell I have been taking the new Antibiotics since Thursday just gone the pain has gone but i am left with a nasty cough now and the worst bit it makes you feel you have no energy I am very over whelmed with all the Get well wishes i would also like to thank that included there get well wishes too , To Aikiuser (Jenn). Kylie, Carol Estes, Karen , Paul, and Mek . Thank you all very much for your Support and Freindship . Hope to be online soon to upload photos and to comment on your photos I started this Discussion from my mobile phone internet as i do not have the enengery to turn on my Laptop. Gerry.
Oh Gerry, you do sound poorly, do hope the antibiotics make you feel 100% soon. I think this cold weather is dragging everyone down, but spring is just round the corner, take care of yourself and we'll see you back fighting fit very soon!
Gerry, I am so sorry you are still feeling so poorly but you say the pain has gone and that s a very good sign that the anti-biotics are working. I had the same thing, and it does make you feel very ill for quite a while but soon, day by day, you will begin to feel better but it's a slow process. You will soon be on the mend and we all, I am sure, are missing you. X
I think it is marvellous that you have found the energy to put this on line! Rest easy, Gerry and drink absolutely tons of water! Float in it if you can! Best wishes!

@gerry Oh dear, sounds as if you've really been knocked for six Gerry... take it easy and let your body get over this, have you tried Lucozade or Lucozade sport? It will give you a bit of a boost. Keep drinking and get well soon :)

Hi Gerry, I have not spoken to you before, just picked up your information from the discussion page. I am so sorry to hear that you are not well. Love and best wishes, and you will be in my prayers. My own husband was very ill for most of last year but he is fit and well now, so I know first hand what it is like to be poorly. Yes, drink plenty of water/fluids, this is always good. (Not whisky and beer though) Pat x
Oh Gerry, so sorry. this is concerning. You have been ill too long! You may have a lower lobe pneumonia- upper back pain and cough. Keep up the medicines and take deep breaths. rest, fluids, etc. You know the drill.

Sometimes it takes an army of antibiotics to kick all of this. Nothing worse than the lack of energy, which I don't have time for when I am down for the count....lol Here's to the mega meds kicking it all to the curb! @gerry

Gerry, kidney infections can you make you feel awful, as it's going all through your body. It takes a while for it to go away and the best thing you can do is to rest, ton's of water and broth's. If You don't start feeling better, they might need to order another type of antibiotic as maybe the strain of infection you've got isn't responding to the kidney infection you've got. Hang in there friend, but don't hesitate to go back to your doctor, as you should be feeling a lot better in about a week after the taking the antibiotics. Take care friend, we miss you.
