This years second annual Worldwide Minute is scheduled for March 15th at 5.47pm. Some of you may have participated in it last year. It was started by 365's very own Paula Wallis @westcoastwallis and this is the link to the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/770820719662768/
The Worldwide Minute is a way for us to share, for just a fleeting moment, a tiny glimpse into our lives, no matter where in the world we may be.
Last year there were nearly 500 people who participated, from nearly 20 countries, and it was AMAZING.
To explain the rules; at precisely 5:47pm, your time, on Sunday, March 15th, 2015, I ask you to stop, look around, and capture what you're seeing in front of you, to share with us.
I will put up a reminder post a day or two before. Alternatively you can set your phone to remind you. You can also tag your photo worldwideminute15 on 365 and post on this thread if you'd like to share on here.
@northy Ha ha. I actually meant to say she could include it in the slide show perhaps. That would be available even if you don't have facebook. Either way, you can still participate if you'd like :)
@kiwichick well - my point was that i could care less about playing if it's all about Facebook... i wouldn't feel in the least left out if my image didn't appear there... happy to play on 365...
@northy@voiceprintz It's certainly not a facebook "thing". Facebook is just being used to spread the word. As is this thread... so please do play along and I will start a new thread around the 14th for people to post their photos on here :)
@northy@voiceprintz no Facebook exclusivity here:) The whole point of the Worldwide Minute is to include everyone, from everywhere, from all walks of life! Some people are sharing and tagging on twitter and Instagram as well, so why not 365? :)
The only reason I chose Facebook as a platform is just for the reach, ease of use, and because I'm already on there!
Looking forward to seeing your 5:47pm (I MISS your shots @northy !!) @kiwichick - thank you so much for sharing on here for me!!
@kiwichick
@cimes1 And thanks Carole for informing about this on FB too.
