This one that I took today. Mostly because of the way it evolved. One of the first ones I took the background appeared darker and I liked it. But when I saw this one I lightened the background even more and fell in love with the high key look.
I got a couple that I really liked this week but I'm going to go with this one because I've been trying to catch the kite-surfers for a while and I liked this action shot :)
I had a lot of fun getting into the garden on some foggy mornings and find various things highlighted with the droplets of water. The sheer number of spider webs was amazing.
I like this one because it isn't my usual thing. I didn't set out to take a photo of a frog in the sun. I also like it because of the starkness of the shadow, the way the light shines through the tines of the frog in weird little strips because the tines are not all parallel, I like the half-vignette of the encroaching shadow. Who knew that cleaning out the pantry could be photographically rewarding?
This is not necessarily the best image but I waited about 2 hours to get this shot and I felt very priviledged to see the kingfisher let alone get a shot of him.
This was my favourite. Just for fun I decided to turn a rather mundane shot of some boatyard junk into an abstract.
Well it gave me something to do anyway and I do enjoy improving(??) bland snapshots! For this I used Picasa and iPiccy - both FREE packages and very user-friendly.
For once I have a few shoots I love this week. Going for this as it made the TP and PP - doesn't happen too often so has to be a favourite for the week
Just because, haha:)!
It's not often I get the chance to photograph such beauty...*sigh*
