For the third year, I'm taking part in 30 Days Wild and I'm hoping some of you will join me again!
This is an event organised by The Wildlife Trust (in the UK) which runs throughout June and several people here joined in using the tags 30DaysWild and 30DaysWild2016
The idea is to spend some time outdoors each day - from a full days walking, climbing a mountain or a wildlife watching trip to the simplest of things like drinking your coffee in the garden in the morning, identifying a wildflower or feeding the birds.
You can find out a little more in the link below and sign up to receive your 30 Days Wild pack and join in - though you don't have to sign up to join in, you can just join in and tag your photos here! If you scroll down on the page linked below, you'll also find loads of ideas for 'random acts of wildness'!
In 2015, I put together three blog posts each containing 30 'wild ideas' to offer a little inspiration for the challenge - I hope they will be of use to one or two of you who want to join in!
All you need to do to take part this June is tag your photos 30dayswild2017
I've been blogging 30 Days Wild since it began in 2015 at http://louises30dayswild.blogspot.co.uk (After the first 30 Days Wild, I carried it on and completed a whole 366 Days Wild!) and will be blogging my 30 Days Wild there again this June.
You can find my photos and daily wild activities by looking at my 365 project for the last two Junes ...
I'd love to take part this year, I was following a number of people who participated last year and I really enjoyed their images but didn't join in myself - count me in for this one :)
I'm in! I really enjoyed finding wildlife every day in June last year, although it might be more of challenge this year I'd love to give it a go again :-)
Thank you all for responding (sorry I've taken so long to reply!) - It's great to see so many people interested / taking part :) I'll look forward to seeing your Wild June photos!
Doesn't have to be anything really wild, the point of it is just to get people outdoors, noticing nature and perhaps learning a little about it too. It can be something as simple as identifying a flower you don't know the name of or simply drinking a cup of tea in your garden instead of indoors.
If you can do WILD wild that's great but it'd down to the individual person and obviously people are going to do it differently according to how much nature they have access to! Hope that helps!
These three blogs post which were linked above have suggestions for some 'wild' activities to do for 30 Days Wild...
@stefneyhart no, not too late, 30 Days Wild runs for the whole month and whilst the idea is to do the whole month, you can join in any time and just post on days you can.
And you can always edit your existing 'wild' June photos to add the tag if you want to!
@roachling So I went to the web site and requested to join, and got okayed today. I went back yesterday and added the tag to my photographs in June... do they automatically go to that site or do I need to upload them there? Thank you for your help.
@stefneyhart The tag 30DaysWild2017 is just a tag I started for the 365 site... photos don't go on the 30 Days Wild site - if you use any other social media platforms, just tag your photos #30dayswild and they will show up amongst all the other ones.
Hello all, not sure if you are all still active here but I know some of you are and I've just started a new thread to launch 30 Days Wild again this year, should any of you be interested again? Apologies for the short notice this year!
Count me in!

It's whatever you can manage!

That's great, it doesn't matter if you can't do every day :)
