Reprocessing a photo taken and posted only two years ago (given feedback from fellow photographers) makes you see how much you've learned about processing:
I just think this caught this year quite nicely. At first glance, an urban, damp, dark winters day, with festive tree and lights. Look again, and you might notice the empty streets, and the symbol of this year, a face mask.
Oh, and that wasn't in my head as I took this image.
I played with forced perspective photography in response to my Get Pushed Challenge this past week. It was fun taking this photo of my husband who has probably never even stood on a skateboard. He looks pretty accomplished, as if he is even doing a jump over the board.
