Who needs a candle when you can capture this sort of light. This was at Durdle Door in Dorset U.K. at sunrise today. Apparently it can only be captured during a few week of December and January when the sunrise aligns with the door.
Fortunately sunrise was at a civilised time. It is a bit of a hike to get down to the beach and many photographers were there. I need to polish up my skills at this type of shot but far from disappointed.
I know it’s not a candle but the shapes reminds me of a flickering flame.
Fabulous capture! Went there a couple of years ago, it’s amazing. It was a geography topic many years ago at school when learning about arches & stacks! Happy Birthday too!
@ricksnap worth a visit to view the sunrise. There were quite a few enthusiast there with tripods. Some got rather wet as the waves were breaking quite high on the shore even on a low tide.
And happy birthday! This is not a candle you can blow out ;)
Happy Birthday!
