Competition: Who can take the worst pictures!

May 7th, 2013
I know, I know- 365 is all about improving our photography skills! But everyone on here is so amazing, I think we could do with a real challenge:

After reading 'Five Easy Steps To Crappy Pictures' as mentioned in another discussion, I had an idea:

I want to see if anyone can utilize all five of these steps, (shown here: http://www.danielmcbane.com/photography-tips/five-easy-steps-to-crappy-pictures/) and post them on this thread!

Also, feel free to share any other advice you have on taking the crappiest pictures you possibly can! Go go go!

(this should be fun!)

I always find holding the camera in one hand at weddings, preferably with a drink in the other hand really good for focus!! :0)

Here you go. I took this on Day 3 of my project two years ago. Let's just say I panicked that day.

this is one I did when I was trying to get a panning shot with totally random settings on my camera - also because of the sun being in the wrong place I had to shoot towards the house so lovely background

sadly this was the best shot I got and had to use it or have a hole in my project

Here's mine, it's into the sun, with flash, horizontal, same spot as others were taking photos, full auto mode.

Oh, and I left the lens cap on, too. ;)

@abirkill FAV!

One sure fire way to get a bonafide crappy shot is to make sure you put something over your lens just to see if you can then still make out a subject. I mean, it's arty right? And it's easy. Any scarf with holes will do.

@abirkill Perfect!

Somehow at the start of my project I thought this shot of washing up water was an acceptable picture to post! Other contender for the day was a macro of some carpet fluff!

@abirkill Classic !!

@abirkill that's funny

@abirkill way fun! :) I think this is a prime example of the value of leaving the lens cap on :) Im sort of worried if I try to take crappy photos mine might just improve lol!

If a photo shows any merit at all just use every editing feature of free online editing sites. Works for me :)
