Well I'm launching out into the deep and putting forth and idea I had, I'm not sure if this has been done before. I have enjoyed going through many photos on 365 and thought it would be nice to see a collage of your country, province, state or territory.
I am very proud of my country Canada and live in the Province of Ontario and I know that you are proud of your country where you live as well.
So this is my thought, post your favourite photos of places, landscapes, cities etc. in a collage of 9 or similar display of 9 as seen below, of your country or your province or state or territory. TAG: mycountrycollage or post here
You have until Thursday, July 18th, 2013 at which time 5 collages will be selected by Saturday, July 20, 2013 and posted for you to vote on your 1st choice. Remember to TAG: mycountrycollage or post here
I'm from ON too! Impressive collage and a great idea...I might have a go! You can also make collages in Picmonkey, very easy and no downloading required
Buggy summer. Not really in keeping with your Canada pride thing, but I've always found it interesting seeing the different bugs for around the world :)
@traceyhn You can post here after posting your pic on your page then by copying your thread which is found just below SHARE, you then copy the thread to this page or tag: mycountrycollage. Either or is fine. Looking forward to seeing your country.
Are you looking at these being photos that we have already posted in our project or can they be images that we have not used yet?
I'm going to be working on mine over the weekend so I wondered if I had to do a little tour of my city to get some new images :)
I'm actually thinking of doing two.... I live in Ontario but my home will always be New Zealand :)
Watch this space for a post on this thread Saturday or Sunday :)
@k1w1 Good question, both photos are fine either in your project or newly taken photos. I look forward to see one from the province of Ontario and another from New Zealand.
@shutterbugger Oh these are cool. Are they all macro shots? I can never manage to get the bugs to keep still long enough to take macro shots of them :)
@cathrinemitch they are from Finland. We live 300km above the Arctic Circle. I am from Germany originally but moved here a while ago. It is a nice place!
oh my goodness, Cathrine! What a great idea!!! I'll be doing my selecting tomorrow! But just wanted to applaud you for jumping into the deep end ;) Just to make sure ... what time frame should the shots be taken?
@kwiksilver No time frame all shots are welcome of your country from anytime. Must be in a collage of 9 pictures. Must post here or tag as mentioned above before Thursday, July 18, 2013 midnight. Let's have fun, show your country proud and keep shooting.
When I think about my country and what about it makes me the proudest, it is the people I think of first. We are such a diverse and interesting population. So, in spite of the fact that "people" shots are not my strong suit, I am posting a selection of them as representative of my country.
Please check out the attached tag to see other collages submitted. The collages above will also be considered in the top 5 selection. Go the the link below to view others wonderful submissions. http://365project.org/tags/mycountrycollage
I live in Ontario, Canada and one of the things I love about this province is the number and variety of waterfalls. Of course the big one being Niagara Falls but there are hundreds of smaller waterfalls that are as beautiful or more than Niagara. I love to take photos of them. Hope you enjoy this collage.
@cathrinemitch hey Cathrine I might be too late I get confused with time zones - it is still 18th here in Sydney - whatever you think is right is fine with me - have been preoccupied but wanted to join in
or free phone APP InstaCollage
Hope this helps.
@lbluejaye8 PicMonkey also has a collage section.
