There are plenty of subjects, techniques & editing to use -
man-made, natural, blur, zoom burst, icm, lines, shapes & textures to say a few

Why don't we put one here on this thread to inspire abstract thinking, so if you have a favourite one in your project, let's see it

here's a couple i made earlier ... not sure how abstract they are ... looking through my project i realise there aren't many abstracts, so i'll look forward to remedying this

Sounds like so much fun Wendy! I'm a bit like Clare - never quite sure of the true definition of an abstract. Hope it's OK to put up some images where the main details have been removed but the item is still recognizable? eg
