abstract 2 treats - come and vote

i have been looking through the impressive array of images that were tagged for the abstract 2 challenge. it has been an impossible job to narrow it down to a group of finalists, but such is my task. it is so interesting to see the range of interpretations, all creative and inspiring in their own way - you might want to check out the abstract-2 tag to have a look at them all. photography is subjective enough at any time, but abstract images seem more so, so i have selected shots that i view as abstract, and that particularly appealed to me ...
