Much to my surprise I am hosting the vote for Get-Pushed-374. Here, for your consideration, are the five finalists, in no particular order:
1. "Into the Woods" by Annie @annied who was challenged to use the Ruckenfigur method. Rückenfigur works ultimately achieve a paradoxical effect: while the subject's pose invites the viewer into the scene, their turned back often communicates a mood of isolation or melancholy.
2. "Face in the Faucet" by Frogger @tdaug80 who was challenged to create a photo depicting pareidolia, or "the perception of apparently significant patterns or recognizable images, especially faces, in random or accidental arrangements of shapes and lines."
3. "Community Center at Night" by Shutterbug @shutterbug49 who was challenged to take and night shot and convert it to black and white.
4. "In Flight" by Jim R @jnr who was challenged to make a high key photo.
5. "Spring has sprung" by kali @kali66 who was challenged to make a collage of springtime plants.
Voting starts now and continues through Saturday, October 5. The winner will be announced Sunday, October 6, and will have the honor of selecting the finalists for get-pushed-375.
