Wimbledon comes to Coppergate, York

The colourful umbrellas of Coppergate have featured in our project before ( http://365project.org/fishers/365/2019-05-28 & http://365project.org/fishers/365/2019-06-14 ), but the latest variation has a new twist. The umbrellas are this time decorated as tennis balls, but further down Coppergate Walk, in St Mary's Square, there are deck chairs on artificial grass, with a large screen so that people passing can have a break and watch Wimbledon live.

It will be interesting to see what the change of umbrella display will bring in August!
