Stepping Down by granagringa

Stepping Down

I'm spending time exploring what the 18mm-55mm lens does, trying to keep it at 18-35mm and seeing what I can do. My goal is to shoot only within this range for the next week and see what happens.
Brilliant.. Loving the flow as the eye is taken on it's journey.. fabulous point of focus..

I love how you set goals for yourself, tackle them, and take us for the ride. :) Neat composition of these steps with the handrail in the foreground.

@cjphoto And this from the man who works out his shots for the entire month!....Actually, this is another "assignment" from the Bryan Peterson book. I'm really glad you are sticking around for the ride...and enjoying it. :)

Very nice leading lines with the stairs drawing you right into the photo.
Well done, and have fun with your new discovery of the lens.

@granagringa - Haha very true! It's just really cool to see another person's learning and creative process. Going have fun as I check out more of your assignments from Bryan's book!

What a good idea for a project. Something very satisfying about this shot... so well composed and the focus point and DOF are perfect.
