Walking on Water

270 - A cold night and a heavy frost this morning, so I found the lake on Clifton Moor with several large areas of ice. There are quite a lot of birds in this area at the moment, and it was entertaining watching them come to terms with the solid surface that the lake now has!

Thank you Ann - the thing that surprised me was that there were so many birds on the ice rather than on the open water further around the lake
