This morning, I glanced at this pretty, round knob. Then I noticed the pretty light on this pretty, round knob. Then I saw the pretty, straight lines gleaming in the pretty light on this pretty, round knob. Then I realized I’d spent 40 minutes looking through the viewfinder at the pretty gift of pretty, straight lines gleaming in the pretty light on this pretty, round knob; and I felt thankful that one thing led to another. I might have just walked on by and missed it all.

Love your commentary - it's always as enjoyable reading that as it is seeing your interesting shots. Really nice dof to bring out all that you spoke of. Wonderful monotone.
@milaniet Thank you so much for your very generous comment, Milanie! You are so kind! The wood is actually a warm, golden oak; and the knob is antiqued brass. Although I liked the color shot, the softness of the monotone version really spoke to me.
