I’m thankful for the gift of Marley. Our sweet, playful, little Havana Silk Dog spends a large part of each day carrying a toy in his mouth. If it’s the black and white stuffed dog toy, then surely Marley wants one of us to throw it as he loves to play fetch with that stuffed dog! Marley also loves vanilla ice cream and is always ready for a ride to the local ice cream shop. Actually, Marley loves everything. And everyone. He makes us smile. Every day. Bright-eyed Marley’s in love with life, and each day is made more joyful by his sparkling presence!
I’m dedicating November to giving thanks! For years, I’ve kept a gratitude journal in which I jot down things that I’m thankful for. During this month when we’ll celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, I’m going to take my gratitude for God’s good gifts one step further by photographing a particularly meaningful gift each day for my 365 project! I've always viewed the subjects of my images as gifts, but I'm looking forward to this month of intentionally labeling them as such. This will enable me to spend a bit more time dwelling on God's goodness and offering the thanks that He deserves. If anyone would like to join me in this celebration of grace, please do! Lovely composition with Marley being the crowning touch. It makes me miss my sweet Lhasa Apso (Asia) who was also black and loved to play trciks on me. Dogs do bring so much joy!

Fantastic photo of your precious Marley. Great action capture, great focus on her happy eyes. Photographing a black dog so that her eyes show up well is no easy feat. You did awesome!
