Stepping outside on this gray morning to say goodbye to a visiting friend found me actually enjoying the ever-so-slight drizzle. Although I would have much rather cast my eyes upon some festive snowflakes on this first day of December, the wet weather did have a bright side. Good smells hung heavy in the damp air, and a walk became aromatherapy. My stop beneath the hanging branches of this Weeping White Pine was more about the fresh, enveloping pine scent than the sparkling raindrop dangling on needle’s edge. Back indoors now, I inhale. Hopeful. But the olfactory feast is now just a wonderful memory.
I like viewing this image best on the black background.
@countrylassie Thank you so very much, Lesley! I really appreciate your enthusiastic comment, the fav, and the follow. How kind of you! I really appreciate your interest in my project. :-)
The adorned needles curve into the image so pleasingly. Nice composition, and wonderful focus on that tiny gem of water. Your commentary was such a delight to read.
