“Beautiful sunrise alert,” read the text. That husband of mine sends me a text when he sees a pretty sunrise on his drive to work. He doesn't want me to miss the beauty. Pure sweetness, he is. We love our upper porch with its east-facing view. Perhaps we should call it our sunrise porch!
It's beautiful, Janet. Lovely shot. I looked out the window this morning and saw just some slight color in the sky. I guess most of it had passed. There is no good view from my house for sunrises. That was so nice of your husband to let you know about it. Fav!
My husband and children (when they are home) do the same although they do tease me a bit about my photography obsession! This is a beautiful scene from your sunrise porch Janet. The colours warm the heart on a cold winter's day.
My dream would be to live in a house with both east and west views above a lovely body of water - well, it's a fun dream! Love these colors you caught this morning. How nice to get a heads-up from your husband - often they don't last long - and you can be prepared to really enjoy the moment.
