the season’s first float in a sparkling clean pool;
fragrant sprigs of dill snipped for cool, creamy dip;
refreshing glasses of peppermint iced tea;
flowers glowing in afternoon light;
seeing my son and daughter smile;
the three-day weekend with my husband.
When I write them down, they look like what they really are — gifts! And my heart beats thanks.
