Placing two big pots of bushy, beautiful, budding mums at the entrance to the front porch is an annual tradition I treasure. Trusting their tags is a must as the hundreds of buds squeezed tight like cute little fists won’t reveal the color within; and this year’s tags didn’t let me down. My favorite color — yellow — lights up the porch! Photography helps me appreciate the light and not just the light but the Light as well. I look at those rays. I marvel at the miracle. Little altars everywhere.
