Tulips! I discovered the leaves pushing through thawing soil weeks ago next to the bottom step near the pond, and now our comings and goings are all the sweeter thanks to the splash of vibrant color. I leaned in close to enjoy every detail and felt especially drawn to the somewhat ruffled tips of the sturdy petals. The patch grew larger this year, and that’s no small blessing!
Those are beautiful tulips with the little ruffling - I love the anticipation when something first sticks his head up - I'm always anxious to check the next morning to see what has happened overnight
