We say it all the time, "God's in this." The way The Dreamcatcher came to be, the way so many details fell into place — we can't help but see it any other way. It's a great story and one that keeps getting better.
This morning, we sat fireside snuggled close, each with a cup of steaming hot coffee in hand. A chilly breeze blew the branches overhanging our campsite; and how I love softly swaying branches — nature dancing. Chatting as usual about our amazement of all things Dreamcatcher and thanking God for the gift of it all, leaves let loose and fell like snowflakes. Surprisingly, our eyes focused on the same leaf at the same time; and we watched its clumsy tumble. It landed — caught up just before us in some weeds — and we gasped astonished at the shape and the timing and the many ways God makes known His presence and His love!
Father God, thank you for the many ways you make your presence and love known — ways that shake us, wake us, and leave us forever changed. Amen.
