Isaiah foretold of Jesus' birth hundreds of years before that silent, holy night. The people waited a long time for a Savior. We're enjoying our Advent wreath again this year, lighting the candle and reading a story about Christ every night as we move Mary on the donkey along the path. We love this time together, this time spent waiting for Christmas, this time spent waiting to celebrate the miraculous birth of our redemption.
Christ is the sacrifice that takes away our sins and the sins of all the world's people.
