We decided not to have our Christmas party this year. Like last year, Covid's to blame. Better to be safe than sorry's our way of thinking. The decision freed up all kinds of time, and I'm quite enjoying the season sans toing and froing, hereing and thereing. Sometimes it's the way light illuminates some twinkling decorations, sometimes it's simply light itself — I find I'm noticing more. Reflecting more, too.
On Him. And isn't that what the season's all about? Ahhh, there's that silver lining again.
You have some nice shadows there, too. A wise decision on the party - don't know that I could easily live with myself if I ever thought I had deliberately done something that later caused a major problem for someone else. And your silver lining is so true
