Groceries

Thank you, Lord, for the groceries I purchased today.

Tuesdays are grocery shopping days, and it didn't have to be this way. Only by God's grace do I have the luxury of bringing home shopping bags filled to the brim each week, and I strive to not lose sight of that. Oh, and fresh produce in the middle of Winter? Blessings abound!

I'm tagging this for the 52-Week Challenge. This week's topic is Vision: Selective Color.
Funny, I didn't even notice it was selective colour until I read your bottom line. I think that is a really good sign that it works well. That tantalising piece of fresh parsley looks like it could leap straight off the page and into one of my recipes! Those of us who can afford to shop for whatever groceries we like, without worry, are indeed most fortunate.

Again, your commenting and your photo work so well together. Wonderful focus and light - and a nice reminder to all of us about how fortunate we are from the things we mostly take for granted.

Beautiful dof, and I agree with your narrative! We are so blessed to be able to buy any groceries that we want -- year round!

Like it for the selective colour challenge, makes a refreshing change to having red as the selective colour.
