Thank you, Lord, for the diamonds sparkling on the tree — and for my thoughtful husband.
He kissed me goodbye and said he couldn't wait until he got back home. I heard the garage door go up and then down as he left for work, and then the phone rang. Did I want to come down to the driveway to photograph the diamonds clinging to the Japanese Maple tree branches overhanging the pond? They'd caught his eye, and he'd wait for me. Of course! And then we both stood there, him in his suit and me in my robe, admiring the sparkle. I, too, can't wait until he gets home. He's a gem.
What a sweet thing to do! To be honest, mine does the same, phones on his way to or from work to say look at the sky, get your camera out! Little gestures like this are gold, and your pic is beautiful, definitely worth the call!
