Best on black. Several of you suggested a longer exposure for yesterday's shot and since it is raining again and since there is a spot to photograph this perspective that is under cover, I went back with a 6 stop ND filter. I decided to post the colored version and to burn and add blur to the background greenery.

Such a different image! I liked the other one but I love this one. It has so much more life and interest with the golden colours developing as your eye moves back to that beautiful wall of gold at the far end. I think blurring the greenery also worked well - removing it as a distraction. I'm not sure about the added height in the foreground - it does give a sense of perspective but when I scrolled down to remove it I think I liked it better with yesterdays perspective. All just personal preference of course but it is so interesting to see both versions. Cheers Rob
