I tried to use the manual focus setting on the lens ( I guess it is considered the kit lens for this camera- 16-50mm). I am not sure about this, still lots to learn about this camera.
There is so much to learn about a new camera. Sometimes it feels as though real life gets in the way. I look forward to your progress through your learning curve.
@yrhenwr Thank you, I broke down and bought a big fat ball- 6 inches in diameter and weighs a ton but with using the 50mm it seems to give me a decent image in the ball and I don't have to use a macro.
@taffy Thank you so much, I was trying to use the A6000 kit lens on manual so I can get a 50mm focal for Richard's nifty fifty challenge. I am still learning the limits of this camera. I like the mirrorless size but all of its features will take time to learn and understand. Using my manual adapter for it with my A mount lenses is just beginning.
