I had a busy day today so got out early with Monty and his friend Gloria. She's a few months older than Monty but they used to enjoy a good old wrestle when they were pups. Her human, Rebecca, is very strict with treats but she knows if she looks at me like this for long enough (which isn't very long at all) she'll get one. I noticed today that she's going a bit grey bless her - not enough treats! Good news from the vet visit with Monty the other day - he has lost 1.5 lb and can stay on the low dose steroids that seem to have really improved his neck (even though they were prescribed for itchy skin!).
Good for her owner - these dogs can get podgy so fast then can't do anything but waddle! They have great character even if their face leaves much to be desired! Steroids seem to be given for so many ailments nowadays! I have Internet on steroids now!
