Swan at the weir by judithg

Swan at the weir

I revisited my favourite walk with Monty and STILL he wouldn't get out of the car. In the end I decided to drag him out and head in the opposite direction to usual. Bate's Bite lock has a weir next to it and we crossed over and walked along the opposite side of the river which was lovely but going under the motorway bridge spooked him out again. To avoid going back under it I found a new circular route which worked quite well though a bit less rural than normal. I think my next strategy is to head further down the river and attack from the opposite end.
lovely tones and composition!

In this shot, you can see how beautifully and gracefully, the wings fold over at the back! Lovely calm water for a great scene!
