The rain came down in stair rods and I divided my time between turning sausages on the BBQ under the gazebo and pushing lakes of water off the roof of Nigel's 'connecting contraption' so that it didn't collapse and dump water on the guests (who wisely stayed inside most of the time). However, it as a lovely do with groups of friends coming from all over.
This is so lovely!! I cannot tell you how much I like those champagne candles!! Sorry about all that summer rain.....we got some of that, too....very unusual for our part of the world.....usually it is dry and hot year round, and of course, worse in the summertime!!
