A lovely day for a walk but I’ve only been the long round to the Co-Op today. Obviously I need a photo so here we have Rafiki trying to communicate something by giving me a very hard stare. Despite the encroaching lethargy I have knocked up a tray bake - Mary Berry’s sultana cake. A tray bake for two....
Some pretty awful scenes of flooding in the NW so I’ll settle for being a bit bored today.
Weather: crisp with blue skies.
Covid: my dad should have got his first vaccine dose by now.
Good news: my new lens seems to give really deep colours - I don’t know if that’s a thing affected by lenses - maybe it’s just the same as getting closer.
I think you'd better give her what she wants. Is this with your new lens? I am looking at zoom ones for my pentax but they seem to be 1-2 grand! But then I looked at the price of the wide angle one I have and that was 2 grand. No way did I pay anything like that for it so they seem to have gone up a lot.
@fueast it’s a Sony E 70-350mm f4.5-6.3 G OSS Lens - definitely the most I’ve ever paid but I got an inexpensive zoom lens when I got the camera and I don’t use it because it doesn’t focus well so I knew I needed to go up a level. It’s not in the 1-2 grand bracket though and anyway I wanted something I’d actually be able to carry and use without a tripod etc. Very pleased so far.
Multi talented Judith! Fav
