Camouflage

Nigel has been doing jobs in the garden today and it’s caused quite a bit of excitement in the robin population. This chap sitting in the quince was waiting for Nigel to move so he could gather up a load of spiders. There hasn’t been much more excitement around - Adam has been knocking back painkillers and eating soup - though Nigel and I did chat to three separate pairs of friends on our walk this afternoon which was very nice.

Weather: chilly but fine
Covid: Second doses well underway
Good thing: nice donations for the Community Fridge from neighbours.
A joyous spring photo!

He's posed very nicely for you there against the red. Scorchio up north today!

Robins follow Ray when he is gardening but obviously know the difference between a spade and a camera as they ignore me.

I love quince blossom, and the robin is a bonus! Do you use the quince to make jelly or is it cheese?

A perfect springtime photo! I love this! I'm surprised you spotted that little robin. At first glance he could be a quince blossom.
Good thoughts to Adam. Hope he's not suffering too severely.
