The birdbath is the best lockdown purchase I made & it’s not just the birds that think so…. I’ve been very pleased to see bees using on the few warm days we’ve had this year.
A very grumpy day in which I painted half a wall the wrong colour, thought I’d filled some holes and found the filler had shrunk, couldn’t get the new socket covers to go on properly (no idea why the electricians didn’t cut the wires a bit shorter) and ended up accidentally knocking out filler that I had been quite pleased with. Best move along…. Anyway Nigel got home safely in the evening without catching anything from his trip away so that was an improvement.
Marvelous shot. I adore your birdbath!! It's a beauty. Sounds like a frustrating day with the home projects...but a very good thing that Nigel made it home in good condition.
@bkp sandstone I think. The base didn’t come with it and so it just sits on top - handy for tipping the water out when I clean it. It has a few different sized pebbles in it to give it different depths. The squirrel worked around the outside edge licking it - I wondered if there was some salt coming out or maybe just insects?
