I went in the loft to take a picture of a rainbow last night but it just stuck as a nice coloured patch rather than a proper rainbow. Meanwhile to the left the sun was setting. I had the wrong lens (zoom) so I've stitched two shots together. Funny old summer weather but there have been some good skies in the evening.
What a stunning sky in sort of layers & the colour is glowing! I like the chimney pot outline on the left it just gives it that interesting skyline ! Good stitch !!
Absolutely superb sunset and a great job of combining photos. I've never tried doing that. What editing program did you use? I'm so challenged by editing.
@peggysirk It's Photoshop Elements Peggy. I went to 'Edit' and then ''File'> 'New' > Photomerge Panorama and then you just select all the photos you want to merge. I had to tell it to 'Reposition Only' or it made the chimney all wonky but apart from that it's just sit back and let the program get on with it. Quite quick for two pics - put the kettle on for 5 or more!!
Fabulous Judith, and a stitched shot too. I'm glad you took my April advice and did this one as a letterbox !!! ( ha ha not mentioned letterboxes for some time) .....
