I'll bee blowed

I wasn't expecting to post a bee photo in January... I had a choice between a lovely bumble bee on 'more perfect' blossom but not focussed very well and this one on the slightly damaged blossom. I'm hoping somebody (@cherrill?) will help me out with the name of the plant because my mind has gone blank. I should point out that the winter garden also smells gorgeous - partly due to these shrubs and partly due to a rather inconspicuous green hedge which has an incredible sweet smell.
Very pretty.

I would much prefer shooting bumblebees and blossoms than snowflakes and icicles. Well, maybe one or two days of snow would be nice, but then take me back to bee weather. Love this cheerful shot!
