Slow down, you move too fast....

You gotta make the morning last....
Another shot from yesterday. It's quite difficult to get a shot of the Corpus clock without a crowd of people in front of it. I went and positioned myself across the road next to another photographer who was trying to capture the reflection of King's in the window I think - he promptly crossed the road and stood in front of it...
Can I have gold in the yellow theme?
GREAT capture... look at this mofo's stride. god damn. you can even tell he's booking through a picture!

Great to have a man in such a hurry, rushing past that amazing clock!
January 10th, 2012
Nicely timed! (No pun intended!)

I'm feeling all groovy now judith ...that man looks like he was meant to be in the frame.....is this the 59th street shot in your 365 :)
January 10th, 2012
I love the reflection in the glass.

@phil_howcroft You know your Simon and Garfunkel then Phil!!
January 10th, 2012
Scale is enhanced by the man walking past the enormous clock!
January 10th, 2012
Love thiss Simon and Garfunkel song! Great photo and yes, of course...you can use gold any old time you want! Wonderful capture!
January 10th, 2012
@judithg errrr a quick google Judith...not good for my 365....59th street cred owning up to Simon and Garfunkel knowledge !!!
January 10th, 2012
@phil_howcroft Well you had me Phil!!
January 10th, 2012
It's an interesting clock to capture - I posted one a few months ago. I like your man in the foreground.
January 10th, 2012
@busylady Quite tricky with the reflections I find!
January 10th, 2012
@judithg well i had to google for the 59th bit title ...I knew the groovvy bit !!!
January 10th, 2012

January 10th, 2012
This. Is. Stunning. A real eye-catcher! :)
January 10th, 2012
Impressive! Could be a scene from a Harry Potter movie (I'm watching those right now). Great capture, and beautiful colors!
January 10th, 2012
You have shown us this wonderful clock before & I googled it at the time & thought I would really like to see that one day !! The thing I didn't realise at the time til now is that the clock is outside !!! For some reason I presumed it was an indoor clock !! Glorious timing to get the striding figure of the man walking past !!
January 10th, 2012
@happypat Well it cost millions - you'd expect it to be behind bars - it causes quite a lot of congestion with people standing in the road!
January 10th, 2012
woah to that clock, it is amazing.
i love your shot too by the way, great with the walker.
January 10th, 2012
I always enjoy strolling around Cambridge with you. Thank goodness it is at a more leisurely pace than this chap is walking.
January 10th, 2012
awesome framing!
January 10th, 2012
Nice shot. I like the expression on his face - so serious; you can tell he doesn't appreciate the scenery.
January 10th, 2012
Great shot, love the colours and the framing by that great arch way
January 11th, 2012
Great capture! Fits so well, him striding past that clock!
January 11th, 2012
I'm going to walk around singing this song now, that man doesn't look like he's feelin' groovy though, looks rushed and harried. I love the archway, the heads as corbels
January 11th, 2012
What a underlining of how fast we move through life missing so much. Thanks to 365 I am missing lots less
January 11th, 2012
Great shot Judith. Waiting for the figure makes all the difference. It just wouldn't have worked (or at least not as well) if you'd just taken the doorway without the human element.
January 11th, 2012
That clock is amazing.
January 11th, 2012
I'm sure gold counts ;). I love the contrast you created between the hurrying man and the ever-changing clock. Ah, this image takes me back - again :).
January 11th, 2012
Love the shot Judith! Great composition and the reflection is beautiful.
January 13th, 2012
I love this clock, I think the man striding by gives the viewer an idea of it's size.
January 14th, 2012
Great street shot Judith and gold is yellow.
January 16th, 2012
ooh, I missed this one - great shot
January 16th, 2012
Love the comp and the fact that this intruder has a blue shirt similar to the blue surrounding the clock.....
January 18th, 2012
That is awesome! Love the window!
