This is not the photo I had in mind for today, but once I saw the reflections I couldn't pass it up. This is Vinny's Antique Center in Seekonk. It's located just across the pond from The Old Grist Mill, which was the intended target for today's photo. There was a light coating of ice that I thought would ruin the reflections, but instead that layer of ice really enhanced the image. I've always found bare trees to be quite photogenic as well, so finding these beautiful trees in front of the antique shop just added to the charm of the photo. I can't wait to shoot this same scene in spring and fall.
Post processing was extremely simple. A slight color boost in Topaz Adjust was paired with a high pass / soft light blend for sharpening, and a minor levels adjustment. That was it. This photo is pretty much as shot.
