Tailgating at Gillette Stadium by kannafoot

Tailgating at Gillette Stadium

Tailgating lots were expected to open 4-hours before tonight's 6:30 AFC Championship Game kickoff between the Patriots and the Ravens, however many of them opened before noon to accommodate the crowds already arriving at Gillette. Tailgating - gathering several hours before the game for a cookout and to down a few beers - is a football tradition in the US. Some lots cater to open fires like this one, while others allow tents and accommodate large RVs. Traffic to the stadium was already heavy by 2:00, with a backup of at least 2 miles on I-495 exiting onto Route 1. This fire does look hot enough to roast some raven before the game. GO PATS!

Post processing started with a brilliant warm filter in Topaz Adjust. I adjusted adaptive exposure, contrast, and protect highlights. A slight levels adjustment was added in PSE.
Looks like they are ready for a good time

@bkbinthecity I hope so! I'm worried about the wind, though. It's whipping out there, and the Pats have a better passing game than they do a running game.
