I've seen these fishermen heading back to the Bold Point Dock virtually every time I've stopped at India Point for a lunch-time photo. Today was the first time I managed to catch them in a scenic spot for a photo, however. The decaying pilings in the foreground line the entire stretch of shore at India Point and are a holdover from the period where this area served as a scrap metal yard. The land across the river is Bold Point Park and has become a very popular spot for local fisherman to put in for the day.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, protect highlights, contrast, boost black, boost white, and color sensitivity sliders. A levels adjustment and a sepia photo filter were added in PSE.
