Kennedy Plaza by kannafoot

Kennedy Plaza

I'm still enjoying the street photography with the 50mm prime focus, and today was a perfect day to head downcity. There are a surprising number of people waiting for buses at Kennedy Plaza, the state's land transportation hub. The plaza dates to 1848 when it was christened City Hall Park. The current city hall, seen in the background, was built 30 years later in 1878. The park was renamed to Kennedy Plaza in 1964 following the assassination of the 35th president. The then Democratic candidate for the presidency spoke on the steps of City hall on November 7, 1960 just prior to his election.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivtiy sliders, adaptive exposure, contrast, and boost white. A sepia photo filter was added in PSE.
