I didn't have to travel far for today's photo. My neighbor had a yard sale this weekend, and I spotted an old Flexible Flyer sled leaning against his retaining wall. That was going to be my photo since I haven't seen one of those sleds since Adam was still dating Eve. While there, though, this deal was struck for some automotive equipment, and that made a much more interesting story. Besides, I was able to keep the sled in the background, so both objectives were actually satisfied.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment and sepia photo filter were added in PSE.
