RIIC Powwow Vendors

I attended the opening of the Rhode Island Indian Council Powwow at Roger Williams Park this afternoon. This clothing and jewelry vendor was setup just outside the Circle and close to where I was positioned for photographs. Even the little girl - age 3 1/2 - cooperated when I asked them not to look at the camera while I was taking their photo. Given the extreme heat today, they did choose a good location for their booth, conveniently located right next to the New England Lemonade truck. Due to a scheduling mixup, that truck was the only food and drink vendor present. The powwow drew representatives from around the northeast. I spoke to members of the Narragansett, Wampanoag, Seekonk, Mohawk, and Iroquois tribes over the course of the afternoon. All were participating in the numerous dance and drum ceremonies scheduled throughout the day.

Post processing today started with a brilliant warm filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
