A Wintry Mix

The weather forecast was promising, at least from a photography perspective. We were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow with the heaviest snowfall around noon. I was looking forward to some excellent street photography while the snowfall was at its heaviest. Instead, we got a "wintry mix" - some rain, some sleet, and a little snow. There wasn't enough falling to even put a light coating on the ground, let alone three inches of the white stuff. It still made for some decent street photography, though. In this photo, we have a couple of people going about their business, bundled up against the lousy weather, but still out and about downcity.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
