I waited until after dinner for tonight's photo since I wanted to get some photos in the snow that was forecast. It's not supposed to be much - only about 3 inches here in North Providence - but it was the falling snow I wanted to show. There weren't many cars on the road, surprisingly, but I did manage to capture this scene showing some cars navigating the hill on my street. The Christmas lights on the house in the background added a nice touch, and the street lights showed the falling snow the way I was hoping it would. The only thing I wish I'd done differently is used a smaller aperture. This was taken at f/1.8, and while the houses and the top of the hill are sharp, the foreground is too blurred for my liking. Next time.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
