Providence, Rhode Island

It's been a while since I've had anyone from the Department of Homeland Security browse through my photo galleries, and we all know how important it is to keep them busy. Today should do it since I spent a bit of time doing some street photography around the Providence Train Station. This photo was taken at the bus stop directly across the street from the station. The three guys in the photo are waiting for a bus, but which one is anyone's guess since they didn't board the first three that passed by. What really caught my attention when I processed this shot was how the bus driver looked over and smiled for the camera. I'm convinced Rhode Islander's just love to be photographed! Note that you can view the other photos from today on my Flickr site at http://www.flickr.com/photos/kannafoot.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.

Here's the high res version in Smugmug: http://kannafoot.smugmug.com/Photo-Challenges/PAD2014/i-VJFXSDF/0/XL/2014%2001%2025_0059%20copy-XL.jpg
The bus driver does look delighted. I also like the reflection of the trees in the windshield. Winter wimp that I am, I would have been snapping inside of the bus station and on surveillance cameras for sure.

I like the reflection in the Bus window too. I wish Westphals would be like that too..
Great Shot!
