No End in Sight

I went to the Barrington River Bridge for today's photo, hoping against hope that there would be something interesting to photograph either on the bike path or at the cove that is sandwiched by two bridges. There wasn't. (Okay, I admit it, the real reason I came out this way is I had a coupon for a 99-cent medium iced coffee at Dunkin Donuts, and I like the iced coffee at the one in Barrington.) In any case, I had to salvage a photo while I was here, and I found the lines and patterns on the bike path rather interesting. It seemed like the snow and ice went on forever, which is precisely how I feel about this winter in general. I also couldn't help but notice that the icy snow on the path was so choppy that it was ill suited for both walking and cross-country skiing. What a waste of a good bike path! I can't wait for spring.
Post processing started with a neutral greyscale filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and boost black. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
