I stopped at Bold Point on my way home, needing a safety shot thanks to a full day of meetings. This elderly gentleman was reading the historic marker when I arrived and I decided that would be the photo for today. He was fascinated by the history of the area, including the history of an old covered bridge that used to terminate right where he was standing.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and boost black. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
