The Graduate

I was wandering around downcity for a bit of street photography this afternoon, when I spotted this graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in her cap and gown taking photos with her cell phone. Actually, her friend was taking the photos of her at various spots along South Main Street and Canal Street. In this photo, she's checking out the most recent photo taken here. The RISD Commencement was yesterday, so this was her last opportunity to photograph Providence before heading home.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
Great shot! Looks like we're checking out the photo, which you would've checked out, of these two girls checking out! Hehe, had to do that! A lovely candid capture! :)
