Season's End

The boating season in Rhode Island is nearing an end. Over the next few weeks, virtually all of the boats you see in today's photo will be hauled out. As it is, the activity near these docks has dwindled to nothing. Of course, the empty docks with the remains of the 19th century railroad bridge behind them will make a most interesting photo, so I'll be returning to this spot once the boats are out of the way.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and boost black. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
